One idea of what the group might be is a leaderless spirituality study circle, interested in the insights of many faiths, where all who attend participate. Spirituality not as a spectator sport, but sharing with each other our direct personal experiences of God/dess/universal life force/whatever it might be called.
The idea in suggesting this is that there exist more resources to support beginners in alternative spiritualities, than those who have been on their path for some time. Rather than another introductory seminar, this would be a place where we could share where we've been and where we want to go, and learn from each other.

studycircle mailing list
This list is a multifaith forum which discusses general spirituality and specific theological concepts, as well as is diverse enough to include philosophy and science etc., as and when related to spirituality.
study circles are leaderless -- that is, managed by the participants. They help us break free from feeling that experts and authorities will handle everything.
