Serves 4.

2 pounds medium to small size Asparagus?, tough ends trimmed

Trim ends off asparagus and pierce a line of cuts along one lengthwise side. Cut in half.

extra virgin Olive Oil?
salt
Black Pepper?
2 tsp Butter?

In a bowl, toss with olive oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Put in foil wrap and dot with butter. Seal foil packet by wrapping in more sheets of foil, alternating the opening side top and bottom.

Transfer to the grill and cook turning packet every now and then until the asparagus is tender, about 5 minutes, depending on the size of your asparagus.

1 Tangerine?, zested and juiced
1/4 cup heavy Cream?
1 tsp dried Basil? (or fresh if you have it)

While the asparagus is grilling, zest and juice the tangerine into a small high-sided bowl. Add the heavy cream and whisk to aerate the cream. Stir in dried basil.

When plating the asparagus, spoon a generous drizzle of sauce over.
